Bulls Look to Bounce Back in Chi-Town

It’s been a back-and-forth series as the Atlanta Hawks and the Chicago Bulls have split games on each other’s home floors. Down two games to one, the Atlanta Hawks shot nearly 50 percent against one of the league’s top defenses on the way to a 100-88 Hawks win. Josh Smith led the way with 23 points, 16 rebounds and 8 assists. Al Horford had his best game of the season for the Hawks, going 9 for 11 from the field and finishing with 20 points while team super-star Joe Johnson added 24. Derrick Rose finished with 34 points, however he did take a game high 32 shots. Rose said after the game, “It was a tough game but no excuses.” Carlos Boozer, who has struggled this series, played his best game so far and scored 18 for the Bulls. The series shifts to Chicago tonight, where the Bulls look to bounce back and secure their home court and the series lead.
