Miami Heat

Miami Heat is a professional basketball team and a member of the National Basketball Association. The team was founded in 1988 and is based in Miami, Florida.

In 2006, the Miami Heat became NBA champions, winning the final series against the Dallas Mavericks 4-2.

After spending several years at the bottom, The Heat started to progress through a series of successful picks in the NBA Draft. Many new players joined to the team, such as Roni Seykali during the 1988 NBA Draft, forward Glen Rice, point guard Sherman Douglas a year later and, finally, defender Steve Smith in 1991. While in the first five seasons of its existence the team was unable to achieve victories, in 1992 they went to the playoffs, losing in the first round of the play offs to the Chicago Bulls.

During the 1993/94 season, Miami achieved positive results (42 wins and 40 defeats). In 1994, the team underwent a significant change in composition, having lost Steve Smith and Rony Seykali, but acquiring Kevin Willis, who became paired with Glen Rice, the most productive duo of the league.

The next significant event in the development of the club happened in the 1995/96 season. Pat Riley was hired as head coach and president of the club, the team has updated its entire practical basic structure, exchanging Glen Rice for center Mourning Alonso, who became the first player for the Heat to score 50 points. They also signed star point guard Tim Hardaway.

In the 1996/97 season, Miami became the most progressive team, scoring 61 victories with 21 loses and won first place in the Atlantic Division. The team signed Dan Marley, Voshon Lenard, Isaac Austin, Jamal Mashburn, and PJ Brown. Coach Riley was named coach of the year. In the same season the team first appeared in the Eastern Conference finals, losing to the best team in the league, the Chicago Bulls.

Having lost their leader, virtually the entire 2000/01 season, the team continued its winning way with the acquisition of Eddie Jones, Anthony Mason and Brian

Grant and went into the playoffs with 50 victories, but lost to Charlotte in the first round.

Giving away Tim Hardaway to Dallas, the next season for Miami yielded negative results with 36 wins and 46 defeats. An even worse outcome was waiting for a team in the 2002/03 season (25-57), which it spent without Mourning, who had missed a year due to serious illness.

The 2005/06 season began with the return of Pat Riley at head coach of the team, as well as several acquisitions: Jason Williams, Gary Payton, Antoine Walker and James Posey. After an unsuccessful start, Miami has found its game and finished the regular championship with 52 victories. For the first time they went into the NBA Finals and beat the Dallas Mavericks with a score of 4:2. Miami won its first title. The best player in finals was named Dwayne Wade.

The following season, weakened by injuries of their leaders, O'Neal and Wade, Heat was able to win only 44 games and was eliminated from the title game in the first round.

The 2010/2011 season promises to be interesting for fans of The Heat. Six-year contracts with the team were signed by LeBron James, Chris Bosh and Dwayne Wade. The match’s are really worth seeing; don’t waste your time, buy cheap tickets now!

L.A. Lakers Basketball Games

The Los Angeles Lakers are a professional basketball team, playing in the National Basketball Association. They have been NBA Champions Sixteen times NBA (Only the Boston Celtics have more with seventeen wins). The team was founded in 1946 and is based in Los Angeles, California under the direction of Head Coach, Phil Jackson. The star of the team is, of course, Kobe Bryant.

The team was founded in Detroit under the name of the Detroit Gems. In a year the team moved to Minneapolis and then changed its name to "Minneapolis Lakers.” In 1960 the team moved to Los Angeles and since that time they have been the Los Angeles Lakers.

Home games with the Los Angeles Lakers are held in the Staples Center, which is a multifunctional sport complex in Los Angeles. It opened in 1999 and is located near the Los Angeles Convention Center. This place is also the home arena for teams such as the Los Angeles Kings (NHL), Los Angeles Clippers (NBA), Los Angeles Sparks (WNBA), and the Los Angeles Avengers (AFL).

Reuters reports that, “The Indiana Pacers held off the two-time defending champion Los Angeles Lakers for a 95-92 upset victory on Sunday November 28, in their first triumph at the Staples Center.

Kobe Bryant brought to a team a season-high 41 points, but he missed two potential game-tying three-point endeavors in the final ten seconds as the Pacers (8-7) resisted a late comeback effort after they led by fifteen in the second half.

Roy Hibbert scored 24 points, 12 rebounds and 6 assists to lead Indiana which protected the Lakers on the road for the first time since 1999 - a streak of 11 - which was a season prior to the team's move to the Staples Center.

Bryant made just 14 of 33 shots as Los Angeles lacked abusive chemistry, however, they managed to pull within 1 after 2 Pau Gasol free throws with 34 seconds left.

‘If we had won this game it's fool's gold, because we didn't deserve to win,’ said Lakers forward Lamar Odom, who finished with 15 points and 11 rebounds.

This team plays like a single person, so efficient and confident with total understanding: ‘My team mates are showing confidence in me and my post work and I'm having confidence in them,’ stated Hibbert.”

Hopefully next time you'll be an eyewitness of their triumphant winning. Don't miss the game- buy cheap tickets right now!

The New York Knicks

The New York Knicks are a professional National Basketball Association team based out of New York City. This team was a founding member of the Basketball Association of America in the year 1946 after which it joined the NBA when the BAA and National Basketball League merged.

By the way, The Knicks are one of just two original National Basketball Association teams that are still located in its original city (the other being the Boston Celtics). The name "Knickerbocker" came from the alias used by Washington Irving in his A History of New York, which is the name given to the offspring of the original Dutch settlers in New Amsterdam which later became New York.

In recent Knicks games, they have had no good defense to their opponent's play. The Rockets visited the slumping Knicks, trying to build off their second win of the season. The Knicks also had no answer to Kevin Love, who finished with 31 points and 31 rebounds. Minnesota out- rebounded New York 56-43 and scored 48 points in the paint.

After winning 4 of their first 6 games, the Knicks have been held below 40% shooting in two of three games while averaging 99.0 points during the losing streak. They continue to pin their hopes on 3-point shooting, going 11 of 29 Friday after connecting on 15 of 69 in the three preceding games.

In addition, New York's offense has struggled against Houston. The Rockets have won 10 of 11 games against the Knicks and swept last season's 2 games. They have held New York to 92.5 points per game over those 11 encounters.

The New York Knicks' games are always exciting and impressive. Buy cheap tickets - don't miss NEW YORK KNICKS match!

Legendary U2 - 360 Tour

U2 is a rock band from Dublin, Ireland which was formed in 1976. From the mid 80's, U2 has been one of the most popular and successful bands in the world. It’s sold nearly 140 million copies of their albums. By the year 2006 they already won twenty-two Grammy Awards, more than any other group in the world.

The band was formed when Bono (vocals and guitar), The Edge (guitar, keyboards and vocals) and Adam Clayton (bass), responded to an ad posted by Larry Mullen, Jr. At that time they were teenagers and not professional musicians. By the mid-80's they released 4 albums and gained true fans, mostly because of the unique musicality, the guitarist, Edge, and Bono and his deep voice and the great depth of meaning lyrics. They acquired the status of stars with the release of the 1987 album The Joshua Tree, which is often called one of the greatest rock albums.

In the early 90's, they responded to a revolution in alternative and dance music which, in their opinion, was the stagnation of the music and released the album Achtung Baby and a grand show called Zoo TV. At this time, they were constantly experimenting, exploring different musical directions.

At the beginning of the 21st century U2 played more traditional music, using their previous achievements and continued to enjoy success with the public and critics. In 2004 the group took 22nd place out of 100 in the ranking of the Best Artists of All Time in Rolling Stone magazine. In 2005, they were included in the “Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.”

Members of the group are well-known for their political activities in the field of human rights and social justice participating in Amnesty International, Make Poverty History, ONE, Live Aid, Live 8, DATA (Debt, AIDS, Trade in Africa) and Bono and The Edge's Music Rising.

The Boston Red Sox

The Boston Red Sox are a professional baseball team based out of Boston, Massachusetts. They are a member of the Major League Baseball's Eastern Division and were founded in 1901. The team changed its name in 1908 from the Red Stockings to The Red Sox, which was a decision of the team owner, John I. Taylor.

Boston was a leading team in the new league. They defeated the Pittsburgh Pirates in the 1903 World Series and by 1918 they had won 4 more championships. They are considered to be under one of the longest championship curses in baseball history, named the "Curse of the Great Bambino" which is asserted to the Red Sox's sale of Babe Ruth to their greatest competitor, the Yankees in 1918.

The team's history during a long period was hardly one of vainness, but was rather engaged

with some of the most memorable moments in World Series history, such as EnosSlaughter's mad dash in 1946, the Impossible Dream of 1967, Carlton Fisk's home

run in 1975, and Bill Buckner's error in 1986.

The Red Sox are uniformly one of the top MLB teams in average road attendance. Every home game since May 15, 2003 has been sold out-an MLB record.

The My World Tour of Justin Bieber

The My World Tour is the debut concert tour by Canadian pop singer Justin Bieber. It is Bieber's first concert tour which promotes his two-part debut album My World and My World 2.0.

Justin Bieber was born in Stratford Ontario, Canada, on March 1, 1994. Justin began to sing only few years ago. When he was two years old he got interested in musical instruments, especially drums. Since childhood, Justin has been studying music and now he plays guitar, drums and the keyboards.

Besides music, Justin is fond of sports such as hockey, basketball, football and golf. He attended the Avon State School, Bedford State School and Central State School in Canada.

Justin says that he began to sing by accident, when he took part in a music contest. Other participants took singing lessons and performed with teachers, while he was singing at home among family members. He was 12 years old when he won second place in the singing competition.

The starting point in his career began in 2007. He rehashed songs of famous singers and uploaded videos on Youtube. Soon he got popular among the youth, who became his fans and were sure that the singer would become famous. Scooter Brown found Justin's recording on YouTube and contacted with his family. He sent Justin to the US for a meeting with the R&B singer, Usher. Usher wanted to sign a contract with him, but Justin still had a meeting with Justin Timberlake. In the end, Bieber ended up signing with Usher.

In 2009 Bieber and Usher released their first single, One Time. The song immediately became a hit. In July the single took 12th place in the Canadian Hot 100 list. Justin had already recorded eight songs: One Time, One Less Lonely Girl, Baby, Never Let You Go, Eenie Meenie, Never Say Never, Somebody To Love, U Smile. His album, My World, was released on November 17, 2009 and My World 2.0 was released on March 23, 2010.
