Prince at Madison Square Garden Concert Review

Prince has made one of the most difficult choices at Madison Square Garden, the first NYC date of his Welcome 2 America tour (get cheapest tickets) he did give people what they wanted! At the time when lots of the prolific star's past shows have changed into unknown territory full of obscurities and great funk instrumental jams, I have to admit that this one was a crowd-pleasing hits collection.

While the headliner jokingly complained at one point that there're "Too many hits," Prince performed them with a coolness and savageness that resulted in an exciting show and the crowd was really thrilled.

While performing the star was in wonderful spirits, outstanding guitar god poses for his solos and breaking into the dance workouts. Begging from "Baby I'm a Star" and up to "Kiss," the 52-years-old star "re-explored his vintage catalogue as if playing the songs for the first time." Prince, with the charisma so characteristic of him, showed stamina of his youth.
