Armed Forces Bowl 2010: Army Black Knights vs. SMU Mustangs

Do not confuse the Armed Forces Bowl 2010 with the Military Bowl, Texas-based game has long time ago officially tabbed Army as one of the two participants. Having game location in Dallas, and its tie-in with Conference USA, it looks like the Black Knights' opponents are going to be the SMU Mustangs on December 30.

Army makes the 4-th year when the Armed Forces Bowl will feature a service academy, this year Air Force won the bowl in the game with the University of Houston.

SMU went 6-2 in Conference USA game during the season, that got the team to their conference title game, and a loss to UCF. At the same time Army had their most important game with Navy in the traditional service rivalry game.
