Military Bowl 2010: East Carolina Pirates vs. Maryland Terrapins

The Military Bowl 2010 promises to be a really impressive one, as the East Carolina Purple Pirates has already accepted the invitation for the game that will take place on December 29th in Washington, DC, at the fabled RFK Stadium (buy cheap tickets). The second team in this Bowl is going to be a University of Maryland Terrapins. The East Carolina Purple Pirates’ opponents will eventually be an ACC team - Maryland Terrapins.

At the time when Maryland Terrapins finished their season on a quite high note due to a win over NC State (ranked 23rd in the nation). They posted a strong 8-4 record, while losing to 3 other programs besides FSU, in Miami (FL), West Virginia and Clemson; East Carolina absolutely backed the way into bowl voting by going 1-4 in their last 5 matches. But as well they surprisingly won the NC State in 2010, and due to the 6-6 they were invited to the Military Bowl.
